The Challenge
One Community Health, a federally qualified community and migrant health center, launched its program to help providers improve documentation, patient care, and work-life balance. For Dr. Greg Parker, the problem had a timestamp: EMR data showed him logging in between 10 PM and 2 AM to finish charting. Most nights he'd climb into bed, work two or three hours, and fall asleep with the laptop still open.
